Hopefully going to look at a Uylsses this weekend and I have noticed on the photo of the bike there is no belly pan on the bike. Can you guys tell me if the belly pan came as standard on these bikes. Cheers

Thanks, just so i know when discussing bike price. I have been looking in UK for a aftermarket one but no joy, will have to purchase one from US if i buy bike.

My pleasure. Try Ebay. Some nice...some garbage. Can paint to any desired color. Attached to muffler brackets via total of 7 fasteners...as follows:

TWO torx head shoulder bolts with flat plastic washer each...on left side
THREE """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """" """""""....on right side
TWO torx standard bolts on front with flat plastic washer each...on front lip

Try and find a cowling with all the hardware included as it is expensive to duplicate and sometimes a pain in the ass to locate.

What do you mean by "Belly Pan"? The small plastic chin spoiler that sits in front of, and mostly above the muffler to hide it? Then Barretts info is 100% correct.

If you are asking about a structural skid plate for adventuring on your Ulysses? Then NO. The stock underslung muffler can take quite a beating but perhaps Dean Adams has a skid plate left.https://deanadamsdesigns.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=21

I've got an '07 Uly with a missing chin spoiler. Are all the XB chin spoilers interchangeable?

Thanks. I took that to mean -a- belly pan came standard on all models, but didn't know if it was the same bellypan. Thanks!

Hey, I hear ya. After 3 years of ownership, I'm still learning too. Kudos to the gents in posts #4 & 5; They've been the most instrumental in this process.

Brandon: What Bob said and what I initially said. Part is called "lower cowling". Though they are ever so slightly different in front portion materials thru the years and of course colors...they are exactly the same for all years and models XB's....as is the mounting hardware.

Excellent. Thank you. I've been shopping for a "lower cowling" since I got the Ulys. Maybe it's this different in materials that you speak of, but some of them just looked "different" (not just color) from the Uly cowl. Perhaps it was just camera angle or perspective. Thanks for clarifying that any lower cowl, from any XB, will work on my Uly. That will help in my search.

motoguy: Not sure if this would help you out, but I have an incomplete spare that came w/ the bike when I purchased it. I have the front piece and the right side(not riveted together),and in good shape. Front piece has a rattle can attempted paint job(in blue), and the right side piece is OEM Black(no hardware). PM if you're interested.
I am reluctantly going to sell my 06' Uly (modded to impersonate an XT) is why I'll give up my spare pieces.
