Worst nightmare confirmed today when trying to replace header... Found broken exhaust stud so now I'm looking for the jig to use.
Can you comment on Jims 1705 vs. something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Harley-Exhau...haust+stud&qid=1566689025&s=automotive&sr=1-2
Will it work? Should I have concerns?
Let me know what you think.
These instructions say to use a 5/16x18 tap to clean out the threads: http://www.jimsusa.com/pdf/instruction-sheets/1705-IS.pdf
Any tips for how to do this? Do I need a tap wrench?
