...on an X1 I have ever seen. But that is just my opinion. Sorry to bait you with that title ha. After a long weekend all the fab work is 99% done. Powder-coat and wiring and she is back on the road. Its nice to finally see my vision become reality. It might not be your cup of tea but I friggin love it!

Hope everyones weekend was relaxing, fun or productive! Mine was all three.

Thanks Kuntree. Sorta... I have two different mounting locations in mind and Led strips are in the mail. They will be invisible or barely visible when mounted.

Thanks guys. I hope to have it wired up so I can ride this weekend (been itchin to ride sooooo bad). Then I will take it apart for powder-coat and hopefully have it together again the following weekend. My inability to keep anything stock prevents me from riding as often as I want. After this I am done... until winter hits. ;)

How much for one haha. That looks sick. I like the look instead of the ugly stock seat bars. Your had work paid off.

Sorry to be off topic but what tires do you have on that quad? Looks like a slick lol
On topic now I think it looks awesome and I would like to eventually get an x1 when I have the money for 2 bikes, I like the looks of the tubers.

Thanks Kona!

Zero... A local cop told me amber turns are required in Oregon. I got an LED strip with red brake/running and amber turns.

Alaska... I have material to make more and we had planned on doing so. But.... it was a pain in the ass. If I had paid my friend his shop rate plus materials and sublet to bend the tubing... ahem... right around $1600. So... for now we will not be making and selling these. There is no way I could ask that price. If some one is interested maybe we could partially build it and sell it as a kit for a hell of a lot cheaper. This would require the purchaser to do 80% of the cutting, fitting and welding themselves. I have material for 3 available and no plans to get more material bent. Just out of curiosity I may take the tail to a couple large production shops and see if it could be duplicated cheaper.

Lunchbox.. I am near Portland. You an Oregonian? Nice x1 you picked up.. you will love it. Most of the time ;)

njdevils... Ha.. its almost a slick, its a Sandstar.. smooth with a couple ridges down the center, paddles in the rear to match... made for sand dunes if the name wasn't obvious. And thanks man.. I dig tubers too. My next bike may be a Uly or something similar for long hauls. When funds are available of course.
