Super great news!! But I'm not happy about them leaving the 2014's out in the cold though. There isn't that many!

I think the original owners of those bikes should get a little something (the warranty they paid for) for having the faith in EBR back then. It would also show the 2016 purchasers a little confidence...

Just heard this from the dealer I was working a deal on a 2014. Hoping for some support for sure.

Definitely interested to see what the new MSRP will be. Hopefully not too low.

Holy ****..... I bought an 1190SX a few hours ago. March 1st, 2016.

Are the 2016 models just the 250 plus 2014 bikes they have sitting in the factory? Any upgrades on 2016 models, and the price??? Say $13500 with warranty , that means you are paying $3500 for a warranty, you can pick up 2014 models for less than $10000. Hmmmmm...

^ I don't think anyone has said. It occurs to me that maybe those bikes were intended to be 2016 models from the start. Closure happened in April; normally new model release is around July. Maybe they intended to have the bikes in the dealerships by then.

The latest version of the story at JS online offers a glimmer of hope that they might provide some sort of warranty/assistance for the existing bikes:
"I don't know if this company can directly offer a warranty (for the previous bikes) because the old company is not associated with the new one. But we are looking at the possibility of offering an extended warranty through a third party, or something like that, to give people a sense of confidence. If we can find the financial wherewithal to do it, it's in our wheelhouse," Smith said.

This is from Steve Smith, who is president of EBR.
