So I rebuilt the bike and replaced alot of componets including a new o2 sensor. I was still having problems with the bike bucking when it got hot. I decided to break down and take it to the dealer. I dropped it off las month and picked it up yesterday and drove it home. They charged me 3 hrs of labor to replace the o2 sensor becuase that was the code they were getting. I didn't have the front or chin fairing on the bike and they wanted 2 more hours of labor to put those on so I put them on in just a few minutes outside. Everything seemed to be working right except that now when I let go of the handlebars, they shake even at low speeds. I started putting on the new turnsignals and stuff today and noticed that my rear brake caliper had a bolt missing and the other one was loose...... I pulled the caliper off and the rotor had been grinding against it.... Needless to say, I'm really pissed. I pay almost $300 for this to be fixed and they try to kill me dammit.

got to love the stealership! its unfortunate that these stories are so common [mad] the good thing is they didnt kill you and you found their mistakes before something bad happened

yea, the only thing is, I did a lot of city driving yesterday and on the interstate to get home. I was wondering why my rear brake lever kept "floating" I guess you could say.

I too have the same problem both with my buell and my sportster. [mad]I'm use to checking all that the did and some times having to do some repairs[mad]. Not worth complaing anymore[sad]
