So...had an exhaust stud issue fixed today while I was at work by a trusted friend. He was riding back to my house, and about 300 yards from my home, it just stopped moving under it's own power. Engine runs and revs beautifully, the transmission goes into gear smoothly...but once you let the clutch out smoothly, nothing happens. you can roll the bike forwards and backwards while its in gear. I checked the inspection cover, and the primary chain is intact. Is it a bad clutch? Transmission fubar? Anybody else experience this? Thanks in Advance for any help.

Still have ur drive belt? If it shifts fine, then it could be a clutch pack issue. Check ur ball n ramp

Drive belt, primary chain intact. Did a little research and its sounding like something clutch related. I guess there is a retaining nut that comes off and makes the clutch useless. Friend owns a harley shop, just picked the bike up this morning. I dont have the tools or know-how to fix this :/

********, you can at least find the problem. Do like he said and pull the clutch insp cover and check that ball/ramp, also check the lip of the primary cover that the ball/ramp rests against, it may be cracked or broken
