Blast aftermarket basics.

hi, just bought a new 05 buell blast with low miles, the only thing i really dont like is the mirrors and handle bars. I'd really appreciate some links, pricing, and maybe even tips on these mods. I know i want the bikemaster superbike handle bars, but i don't know what kind of nice cheap bar end mirror i should get. The only other thing is the headlight and windscreen. I know this one isn't legal but i don't care i like a sporty fierce look like EZ's style. http://www.moto-madness.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=310

I've got a headlight like that one that I tried putting on my xb but didn't like how it looked that I would sell a lot cheaper than the one you linked to.

On the bar end mirrors I've bought two sets of ones like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/round-bar-end-mirrors-ATV-snowmobile-scooter-chooper-/370506134210 and have another set coming. I really like them. The only problem is the clamp that goes in side the bar to mount the mirror doesn't work well with stock bars. Needs to be built up with some tape or a small hose. Mine clamp right to the bars.

For handle bars you could put stock xb bars on. Direct bolt on. There just lower. I have a set of those too. I had them on my blast until I but fat bars on.

LOL - after you buy the fairing take the bulb out, take it to a place that specializes, in light bulbs and light fixtures, and ask for a 35 watt versions, without the lens cover - and enjoy DOT lighting. My mirrors are 3rd eye, durable, inexpensive, and found at most bicycle shops - lol

Wow the real EZ. just kidding. did you get the third eye bar end mirrors they look really good, whats the headlight and fairing on your other blast, not the acerbis one?

An Acerbis knock off - they are usually found on Ebay under streetfighter headlights, and that trick is how I've improved the lighting each time - lol - yes I run the Third eye because they work well (use only 1 of the rubber expanders supplied - not the two they recommend)and are easy to find replacements for. Here's my latest - I really like it, with the bulb change out to 35 watts - I'm running a total 90 watts - that's some really nice lighting - and looks cool to boot!
