Im looking for a hose plug for the gear case drain line. Anyone have one or know where to get one. Just got the bike and have been driving it, but went to change oil tonight and saw that its missing

Gear case drain?

You've been riding it with no oil in the transmission?

Are you meaning the vent line that sticks out the back with no plug?

Is there only supposed to be one plug in the back? Ive only had the bike two weeks, its my first one, first time rider. I saw that there was two drain lines under the seat when i changed the oil lastnight, i wasnt sure if there was supposed to be a plug on the non oil drain line or not
But to answer ur question, no i havent been riding it without oil in the transmission

There should be three lines out back. One is oil drain with plug, another is PCV drain with plug and last is the trans vent without plug. The trans drain is a bolt on bottom, not the bolt with a locknut (that's your chain tension).

Ok, are the three lines supposed to be together, or are they seperate? I saw that there are two connected by a clamp on the frame.

I just re-read your posts and think I understand what you're asking. You saw the two drain hoses, but only one of them has a plug? If so, I'm guessing the original owner may have left the crankcase breather drain hose open and not plugged. No idea why - maybe lost the plug? I doubt that's a big deal, since the overflow will simply drip as you ride the bike. Of course, you can't ride the bike without the oil drain hose. So it's a safe guess that it's the one plug that you do have. Is that what you're referring to?

I just got back from vacation so sorry about not responding to this thread.

Sprk_sprd--- u have it on the nose, so if its not a biggie, i guess ill leave it alone. If it needs attention someone please let me know.

Well, let's put it this way. Oil drips out of that hose. That hose is near your tire. It's completely possible for that oil to drip and blow onto your wheel.

Do you want to plug it or risk oil on your wheel?

I want to plug it. Ive been searching sites to replace it and havent found one. I even searched the site attached to this forum and its not offered there either
