I have a feeling the lil blast wont be seeing much pavement this summer. Providing i get the xb running. It broke down 36 miles after purchase. Lmao. A little blast karma?
I think the clutch sensor went out. Didnt have time to dig into it, had to get to work. Lemon laws only apply to dealers here. No point confronting the po, he was flipping the bike and told me this from the begining.
I did let him know. Asked if it happened to him. He said no and he only rode it 100 miles with no issues. He didnt offer any reparations. Ill just chalk it up to experience. Its gonna give me a chance to get right into learning about the bike.
That sucks. Hopefully you get it sorted out quickly. IF I were you I would be weeping into my coffee in the morning I would want to ride so badly. At least you still have the blast at this point so you can ride until it gets figured out.
I would also post in the XB section. I have a feeling they could get you up and running quickly.
Well Im a bit ashamed to reaveal the reason my bike wouldnt run, but for the sake of honesty....I ...ahem...must have inadvertantly hit the kill switch whilst adjust the bar end mirror..... I always turn my bikes off and on with the key and most of the time dont even know where the kill switch is. I know now...lol.
Lmao, yea i did the before. Walked home 5 miles cussing and pissed off, almost got in 2 fights. Got home going off. Hopped in the truck with the wife to go get it, and when i got there i realized why and just rode it homr. She laughed me out when we got home
Haha... at least was nothing serious. Same kind of thing happened to me once. I had switched to my thicker winter gloves one season and I was riding along and decided to re-position my thumb because it was cramping. I hit the switch accidentally and just pulled into a parking lot wondering WTF happened. then it hit me!
We have all done something stupid, you live, you learn.
Yep, did that before on the freeway. Was able to pull over to the brakedown lane and stayed there for a good 10 minutes before I figured it out. Chalk it up to experience. [up]
