Broke my ignition key on my 2008 CityX...

Hey,

Snapped into when I tried to remove the gas cap. Got both pieces and ordered a couple of blanks off of ebay. What is the normal route to take to get a key made? Visit to the local locksmith with the 2 pieces? VIN or some numerical code somewhere?

In France, the shoemakers are the guys doing the key copy. I know, it is weird, but that the way it is. Any ways, they can copy every standart keys. And they were able to copy my 2005 XB's key. So anyone that can copy keys should be able to do it.
Keep in mind to try the new key(s)
