Buell and other makes part similarities

Ok so being new to Buell I don't know much about the history of the Buell XB and its parts sourcing by Mr Buell.
I understand it has a HD engine (with some EB magic) but it has Japanese forks and switch gear as I just changed my clutch and brake levers and was surprised to find that they also fitted quite a few Japanese bikes.
So my question is "what parts on the Buell XB are interchangeable with other bikes?"
What bikes share the same forks as the XB's are fitted with metric fasteners so I guess they are sourced from a Japanese or Italian parts bin???

engine/trans assembly mostly sourced from H-D......see the "bar and shield" logo cast into the cylinder bases
switchgear and most electronics sourced from either Kyogi of Japan or Delphi or Ford motor company
tires-Pirelli
frame and swingarm built and sourced from custom Italian outfit though their name escapes me
brake components Nissin of Japan
suspension components courtesy of Showa of Japan
NO chinese garbage on these bikes other than the POS stock brake pads.
the build quality and quality of components in a Buell rivals anything from mother H-D as well as Asia and Europe.

Yeah I noticed the suspension is Showa which for me is great as I have rebuilt quite a few Showa forks with my Honda's. I keep discovering a new trick item or clever part of design every time I work on it. Really loving this Buell
