Its been a thought in my head for some time. Iv always been a huge fan of Cafe Racers, from the old BSA's and Nortons to the 76-79 Hondas. So I got to looking tonight and found im not the only person who has thought of Blast for a Cafe racer.

Think of it, there are so many mods that can almost double the power of Blast for pretty cheap. Easy to work on little one cylinders. And a pretty cheap starting bike. Plus the power I think would be much better on a modern bike than an older school CR. All qualities for a starter project.

Anyhow, just a thought of mine, thought id share it with the Buell community and see what u guys think. Heres a few pics i found surfing around tonight. Although I think I prefer the classic CR front end, naked with clip-ons.

I like the last one as is
maybe the first one i would like more if it didnt have the huge wind screen i've always hated those but to each there own

I know it's a bit more SM, but I believe the Duke 690 is today's Manx Norton. It's the least dirt of the supermotos. 65hp on 330lbs dry. KTM is Buell's most direct competition with the Duke and Super Duke. Would like to see Buell's version of this:

Sorta. But, that's just a supermoto marketing exercise (STT is the same as the Ss Long). Not talking about that.

Would like a 65hp street single that weighs about 75lbs (~20%) less than an XB. Flat track or CR styled.

I'd buy milk by the quart so that I'd have to go out every day to get some more.
