Buell IAT same as Ford?

I read somewhere that the Buell IAT sensor is the same as a newer ford unit? I lost my IAT sensor but i think i have an extra ford unit at my fathers....

anyone know for sure? They doo look the same...

Wouldn't be surprised at the TPS sensor is supposedly the same one used on a 93 mustang--Duralast TPS213 (as posted by a member in another thread). Maybe the forum could use a cross reference index somewhere for non harley exclusive replacement parts.

Can an IAT sensor show different signal to the ECM? Or are they set up to simply read temp, and basically all the same with a different plug?

J_Undisputed - the 93 mustang sensor is completely different and is the old style... its a brass housing screw in. I have a couple laying around.

Im going to run up to my dads tonight and grab the spare ford IAT i have and see if it plugs in.

I am on it, Ford Part # is f57z-12a697-a Motorcraft part # is dy-735, fits all kinds of older model Fords around 95-03 MY. PM sent pur pony.
