I've been looking at buying a motorcycle for the past 5 years and have kept putting it off. Now it's really up there in the list of things to do, next in line basically.

I've been wanting a Buell all that time, made up my mind that the bike for me is a 2009/10 1125CR.
I've always loved the look of the naked XB12R, but the 1125CR also has the refinement that I'm looking for and still being a naked style bike.

I'm 6'4" & 240lbs (and dropping). Any issues with me fitting on this bike? What are the work-arounds to making this bike more comfortable for a big guy like me?
Also, these bikes are 6/7 years old now, what should I look out for when shopping for one? Any known issues?
Also, I'm in the SF Bay Area, who's the local go-to guy for maintenance etc?

Any help guidance would be great, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading the threads in this forum.

I'm 6'3" and i find it comfortable. Get a saddleman seat they seam to be the best. Make sure the charging system has been taken care of and you should be good. Like any machine, they break. Right now parts are readily available.
