Buell Race Maps looks super Random

so randy from hawk upgraded my ecm to the race map when he built my exhaust... so today i was going to compare my current maps to the maps that came with my ECM spy kit... and here is what i found... the maps i saved on my EEPROM are very smooth and linear... with both axis starting low and running high (tps/rpms) now when i load the EEPROM for the race map (which should be the same, all i see is spikes and jumps all over with the tps and rpm values all over the place .... can anyone make sense of this? both 3D view and chart view are TOTALLY different setups

so i figured out why the map looks so crazy... i guess for some reason the 2003 map when it loads is all sorts of randomized... but if you open up the 2004 map... it almost matches exactly what i downloaded from my bike... the values for the 2004 are just ever so slightly higher at higher rpms... so if anyone is looking for the 2003 race map and runs into this simply copy and past the values from the 2004 map before burning the maps to your ecm

Do you have the race ecm, or a custom Hawk one? I have the race now, slightly modified, but am switching to a Hawk pipe. I'm wondering how different they are.

it was my stock ecm that he upgraded to the race map

k. I'll just ask him once I get it done. I thought he had some custom changes on top of the race map to custom match his pipe. I'll ask him if he does.

he told me his pipe works with the race map better than the race pipe
