Buell race muffler before and after

My newly purchased buell had a race muffler that looked it pretty bad shape with some surface rust. Here's some before and afters I just finished up today.

Very nice! Did you do anything to prep it or did you just spray it?

I sanded the surface to get rid of the rust and scuffed it up.

also when i got it off the previous owner had bottomed it out and put a dent on the front bottom of the muffler.

Should have gotten header paint higher temp.
Looks good though

i thought about that but my local parts store did not have any... I would not think our mufflers get above 500 degrees or it would melt the chin fairing.
