Buell race muffler

I have a buell race muffler that I intend to install on my '07 Ulysses. Can these be run with a stock ecm without any repurcusions or should I go with the race ecm? I will be doing some sort of air box mod.

you can run it without a race ecm or ecm remapped to race map or custom map IF you have the regular original blue & white air filter.
with having a race muffler on, If you have the Buell race kit air filter or the K&N airfilter you will be running it too lean if you dont have the Race ECM or remapped ecm to a race map or custom map. and vice versa...
it is highly reccomended when you have the race muffler or any high flow muffler and a high flow air filter to also have the Race ECM or remapp your ECM to a race map or better yet have it custom tuned and mapped to your setup.
