All,
What are some of the tricks used on your Frame puc. I just used a very fine file to get some of the scratches out, but now I have a flat black puc. I would like to buff it if possible, never did anything like this to rubber before.
Enlighten me please.

Before I replaced mine, I thought about using a butane torch to very slightly melt the surfaces smooth, to eliminate the scratches. In retrospect this probably wouldn't have been a smart thing to do since they're glued onto the fuel tank.

Have you tried Armour All ? I've used it on my pucks for 5 years and keeps them looking good , it may help with the flat black look.

A heat gun will "reshine" dull/gray plastic components on vehicles. Like textured jeep flares and the like. But essentially yes your remelting the plastic just a bit

I second the heat gun. If it's really bad there's alway's paint. I have personally never tried to buff a frame pucs tho. They do make a rouge for plastics. IDK about pucs. Or you could send it to me and I could chrome it and buff it for you! :p LOL! JK! Hmmm.......chrome frame pucks. Im doing it!

But seriously. If you want to send it to me I will buff it with plastic rouge and see what happens. LOL! I buffed your blinkers! They turned out pretty good.

If your not laughing. IDK what else to say!!! LOL! I actually did buff her new blinkers. They had a few scratches. :p
