Weird question, but keep in mind I'm working on a single cylinder not a twin.

Is the degree relationship between the lobe and gear different from the rear cams to the front exhaust cam?

Here's why: I have the front cams in my Blast. I want a different LSA. Can I use one of the rear cams to achieve this by putting in place of the front exhaust?

One full tooth is ~26º, too much, I tried. I'm looking to keep the intake where it is, but retard the exhaust cam.

I don't care about timing marks, I can make due.

Thanks!

Lobe Separation Angle

I've retarded both cams ~16 degrees. I'm going to press off the pinion driven gear and pull it back to -8 degrees instead. But if I can get a little more LSA out of it, I can keep the intake closer to original while pushing the exhaust back a little. Keep some torque, gain some midrange.
