Cederberg trip

did a trip into the mountains this weekend. only other biker was a BMW rider, but it was his first trip - was OK though, just annoying at times as he was soooo slow...

the grunt of the Buell and the beauty of the mountain roads make a great combo!

3 more guys followed in the 4x4 with extra gear. Spring is here, but it is still freezing in the mountains. the road was good, but dry and really dusty!

carbon fibre wrap took knock somewhere...

weather and great views made up for it though!

we came, we saw, we conquered!

Sunday was icy cold and looming rain meant we didn't stop for photo ops and raced home - I did anyway! I waited for the BMW buddy a few times and once we were close to home and the rain hit I decided to bid him farewell and raced home to not get too wet!

Buell needs a good cleaning this weekend!

i hope you have an oiled foam prefilter with dust like that. or at least use a cheap paper filter. K&Ns do not do a good job filtering dust like that.

what area is that in, looks like a good time.

it is about 2-3 hours outside Cape Town, South Africa.

Uly has bog std air filter in. will have to give it a clean in the week. last time there was less dust - quite hectic this time around.
