Charging Issues

I have been reading on some of the other forums about the regulator and stator failures on our bikes. I have read that some add an extra ground from the regulator to the battery and some have even replaced both with 2008 units. Just wondering what some of you have done.

I have added the ground wire, did nothing really. I had a stator go out at 4500. I had the jumper harness program done known as the "fix". Mine is still under warranty so I will let them keep putting them in until it runs out of warranty then I will probably send the stator off to have it rewound.
