I haven’t road my EBR for a couple days because of my concern of the clutch hub nut backing off and destroying my machine. My SX is a early 2015 with 4800 miles. So I got into it today and everything looks good “sigh of relief” but I think all should check it out. It took probably twenty minutes to get to the nut.. lol that’s what she said...

After only 4500 miles you had/chose to change the clutch springs ?

I wish , I fried my clutch at 2k , long story EBR put lighter springs in the 2015s for the weak left handed guys and the clutch slips at high revs. And to make things worse I added a pipe and tune which increased 15- 17 HP . Long story why I fried my clutch.

No this whole idea was just for a piece of mind. I have seen the stories of them backing off, so I had to check. I just threw it in gear and checked if it was tight.

Where have you "seen those stories of the clutch nut backing off"? I haden't ever heard of that and can't find any threads on here, BadWeb, or EBR? Is it just a guy on facebook posting thing?

Mine does rattle quite a bit at idle clutch out like a dry clutch does, but the noise seems to be from the stator side?

Can’t remember where I seen it. It was in a video and mucho comments about other people getting into their clutches and seeing the same thing.

And a couple people were saying the stator nut would back off on the 1125..? I don’t know I have no experience with those bikes personally. I figured it is little time for a big problem so I was just planting seeds.
