Are those boots waterproof? The past pair of boots I had, when I used my bike to commute, were waterproof and probably the most amazing things I ever bought. They were Sidis, which I really like, although Alpinestars look nice too. I never worried about waterproof gloves. I could handle my fingers getting a little wet. Pair them up with some heated grips and they'll stay warm anyway, some 9sx hand guards would be a plus. Something thinner would probably be better for how much you'll be using your fingers on the clutch and brake levers.

I have yet to find a pair of gloves that are actually waterproof, they say they are but after 30min, not so much.
I got a pair of over gloves and it helps.
But you really can't go wrong with the Stich stuff.
