Well ive been reading through different old threads and have found different opinions on cleaning the stock headers. The scotchbrite and wd40 technique seems to be the perfered method..all i want is them to look like it rolled off the showroom. its an 03 and their blueish gold which is cool but i want to clean em up.

any advise on that? i want them to go back to the solid gold color after cleaning/maybe a bit of blue too

They are silver after a polish, and a little bit of riding after that turns them gold

Do they ever look as good as on the showroom after you wd40 them up? Will it hurt em at all? Sounds easy and affective

I think it looks great, you can find a lot of pictures of guys who had there's done this way around here.

Just do a touch up every month or so and they'll keep working great.

I have mine ceramic coated so couldn't really tell you.
