Hi everybody, here is link from milano, italy.
I would like to receive your advices about the adjustment of the clutch of my buell:
i noticed that there is vertical or up and down play with the clutch lever that there was not in the past.
So i don t know if it is the clutch cable.
Anyway, in case i have to adjust the clutch, what i have to do?
I saw the video on this website and i understood it was only in case om emergency driving on the road.
I also have tha manual and there is the procedure that conteplates the opening of the primary case.
My questiuon is:
this is the only and correct procedure or i have first to adjust turning the "cylinder" in front of the collectors?
I didn t understand if that thing must only be released before to open the primary case or if it has also a puropose itself in order to adjust the clutch without opening the primary case.
I hope everybofy understand whay i acstually mean.
Thanks a lot and i hope you can give me some advice.

Clutch mechanism has an adjustment behind primary access cover, sets mechanism free-play.
Clutch cable has an adjustment, part of cable, sets its cable free-play.
Literally, two (2) separate adjustments are performed when adjusting motorcycle's clutch.

In additon, you can fine tune the cable free play with the "cylinder" in front of the collectors. 1/16th- 1/8th inch of play between the cable housing end and the perch. up and down movement in lever is normal.
