Clutch Cable broke :(

The clutch cable snapped on my '03 XB9R and I can't find a replacement for it (nothings on ebay and can't order one since they stopped making it for the '03 models). The earliest year I can get a replacement cable for is 2004, so I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the cable on my 2003 XB with a cable from the 2004 XB

I bought a Barnett clutch cable from ASB for my S3, and will install it tomorrow morning.

I broke mine on the way to work one night, 25ish miles out. while at work machined a cable barrel cause it snapped at the lever. it worked till the replacement came.... it happens... happy buelling
