Conducting sales transaction- buyer & seller in different states

Hi Everyone,

You guys are always so helpful I thought I would post my conundrum here. I am considering purchasing a Buell from Somebody across the country from me (seller in Syracuse, NY/ buyer in Las Vegas, NV). He is worried about receiving the money. I am worried about getting the bike once I send him the money (I have the actual shipping handled). Can anyone give me any advice as to how to conduct this transaction.

But it better be a great deal because there's tons of buells way closer like southern california or arizona. What kind of buell are you wanting?

I am looking for a 2008-2010 xb12scg. I have found some in S. Cal. and Arizona. Most of them have been modded quite extensively and didn't appeal to me. Some of them were asking huge money (10k plus). Some of them just didn't seem to be the right deal.

I appreciate the Paypal suggestion. If you see one close to NV. I would love to take a look. Thanks!

Paypal would be safe but unless he pays for a premium account it's only going to let him transfer $500 a month to his bank account. He can also sign up for a paypal debit card for free and either just use the card to withdrawal the money, or have paypal write him a check which he could deposit into his account.
