I am looking for replacement mirrors for my CR. I found a set of led mirrors that will work, but they have a 10 mm mounting bolt on them. Does anyone know if that is the size of the mounting bracket on the bike itself? I would like to avoid buying new mounting brackets if possible. Thanks for the help.

I put a set of bar end mirrors on mine and a set of the rear turn signals on the front. I wanted a factory look.

Yea, i'm not a big fan of the bar end look. I guess i'll just have to experiment. They are only 40 bucks for a set. Unfortunately we just got hit with some more snow, so its gonna be a while before I can ride anyway. [mad]

i have those on my CR

its been a while though, so i dont remember the size.

i do know that its the standard size that most mirrors on other bikes are (whatever mm that is)

do they work better than the stock mirrors? do you have any problems with them moving at high speeds? did they fit on the stock mounts? Thanks.

I had the bar ends on mine with the stockers, ( I had not yet received the turn signals) and the overall width of the bike did not increase drastically. Maybe an inch at the most. The bar ends do fold in though, decreasing the width. Just some info I thought some might be interested in.

Just ordered these mirrors for my firebolt. I hope they reduce vibration and look good, if not, sending them back! I also bought a gopro from amazon for 230!! The motorsports HD that is.

I just got bar ends, too. Huge difference ... I can actually use the mirrors now, both because I'm not looking at my elbows (they're further out), and there's NO vibs.

jeepinbueller, i just took off my mirrors, because i was in a hit and run accident, and when you remove the stock mirrors, what did you do with the leads behind the front fairing, can you plug them in to themselves, i mean left side male and female into each other and right side male and female into each other? will this cause a fault or a short in the system? not more then two days after i did this my stator and volt. regulator went out. i only have 4800 miles,

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

Hey mac,

Glad you came out okay with the hit and run. Just let them be. Your charging system failure and open indicator leads are not related. If you're anal about them, wrap the ends with a little electrical tape and just let them sit under the flyscreen unconnected. Mine are connected to the Rizoma Track 77 LED indicators I installed on the headlamp assembly:
