Can't help with size , but if longer rides are causing right hand/arm cramps,I got a throtal lock from twistedthrotal.com that holds throtal and you can take hand off and get blood flowing again. Easy to install and works well once you get the hang of tightening it.-Just a thought.[cool]

I had the crampbuster on my bike for alil. I can't remember the size I think its the standard one and I had CB1 which I got at a local honda store. It took alil bit to get used to it but once I did it worked pretty good. I had to take it off though when my brother road my bike because he didn't like it at all and I lost the thing and havent had time to go back and get another one.

If you mean for like what size bars, they are a one size fits most, just depends what width you want.
I actually have the cb2.

Don't get a cramp buster since you still need to have your palm on the bar, so you never truly get to rest your hand. Throttle Meister is good but expensive. Get a $25 Vista Cruise, I used one on my XB for years. Best thing ever.

Just Google "Vista Cruise", they range from $23 to $28 bucks. I had to modify mine since they are designed for Jap bikes but no biggie. I cut the little tab dealio at the bottom so I could place it as I liked it and drilled a small set screw threw it and into the throttle housing to hold it in place. On the Jap bikes they suggests using a ziptie. That's ghetto.

I bought a Crampbuster for $10 at the local Cyclegear store. Dont like it in town but when I ride the 330 miles between San Diego and Lemoore it's great.

running a vista cruise got mine at the local honda shop.
Made a bracket for it to work without drilling the housing. just a metal tab.
it is nice for longer rides.
You need one for 7/8" bars

The throttle rocker rocks, i like it better because it curves to my palm and its way more ergonomic it keeps the cramps away. I had a flatter one and i swaped it out for this one. This will not get in your way when you are riding normal city, you wont even notice it. You can buy Throttle Rockers all over. I bought the one(shape on the right). and put it all the way to the right of my grip, so i could still use my throttle as if its not there if i want to, and i do if i want to. I can rest it on the HWY thats how you set it. Where it would be on the HWY ay 75, so your just resting your hand there.

Still don't know why one would want a cramp buster or throttle rocker since you have to keep your hand on the grip no matter what. For a few bucks more you cant set the Vista Cruise and remove your right hand completely for as long as you want. People do it with their left hand all the time to rest that one, why not for the right one too?

I'm an avid fan of the Kaoko throttle control. I've tried shittier options, but they just don't work as well.

I use the throttle rocker in third gear too some times. Well its like this i used to cramp all the time even on back roads, now i don't cramp ever because i can use my palm to keep my throttle on, rather then squeezing my hand. I had a cruise control on a different bike, but i change my speed on the HWY so often that it would not work for me. I am a cop dodger and i don't want to be locked on to a speed. I just rest against the rocker and i maintain what ever speed i position my hand at. If you ride your Buell like a Cruiser then you might want to get a cruise control. I have owned all three types and im giving my honest opinion.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I do a lot of straight line riding during the week cruising about 75 to 80.. On weekends I ride the Hill country in West Austin lots of curves and changing speeds but my hand cramps up on both.
I also notice when I wear my gloves the cramping seams to be worse. I think because I have to hold tighter to the throttle to keep it from slipping in the glove.

If you're grabbing the grip too hard at all times of course you'll get a cramp. My suggestion is for distance riding, not back roads twisties. If this is what you ride all the time then you should not use a friction lock device. Of course the term "Friction lock" is a misnomer, since it really does not lock anything. If I want to be a "Cop Dodger" I can change the speed at anytime by twisting the grip back a bit, the Vista Cruise will set it, if I want to decelerate I can do that to by twisting the grip forward. Still if I have a 8 to 15 mile stretch to ride I will flick the unit on and relax.

for sure, this winter one of these devices are getting put on my bike. i might have two or three rides left for the season...after that, in she goes.

I have the wider of the two crampbuster on my 9s, works just fine, no issues with control, still able to have 4 fingers on the grip and somewhat of my thumb, have had it on for a couple of years now. took all about a week to get use to it, as far as the throttle roll was concerned. after awhile, you'll have to adjust it's position on the grip cause it will roll downward slightly over time when rolling on the throttle, simply roll it upwards around the grip and set to your liking, very easy to deal with, I'd recommend it primarily for the longer trips 'til you get use to it, then just leave it installed. cheap and easy, no tools required for installation...this gives new meaning to "KISS", keep it simple stupid
:D:D:D...by the way, I have carpal tunnel in my right hand and this helps a great deal, good luck
