Badly need a crank locking tool, Im having trouble locating one. So if anyone has one for sale please let me know.

Id be willing to rent the tool from someone if need be, it doesnt appear to be for purchase from anywhere at the moment....

step 1: go to Home Depot
step 2: buy 1-1/4" flat stock steel (in the hardware section)
step 3: cut the bar to 4-1/8"
step 4: bevel the edges on both ends of the bar
step 5: your crank locking tool

have a nice day:D

Did the same as trsh, but made mine out of aluminum. Real easy stuff. Heard of others even using door hinges.

I'm never very good at picturing things, but how'd you get that into the crank hole and it doesn't look like it would thread in too well.

;) 1125 jokes, suckas

Aren't you talking about an 1125? We have one for save from Twin if so.

^^^^ with sharpie just stencil...."Rotax/Made in Austria"...... and it should work on your 1125.

still nice write-up and pics there thruster. great info to have.

tsrbleek, I own the crank locking tool and loan it out to people if you still need it pm me and we'll set something up.

Just a revived old post, this is from before I purchased mine.

And yes logix, it arrived promptly after you shipped it :D[up]
