Crisis averted!!

So I though I was royally screwed Friday night. After a spirited run down I-5 to sandiego harley for bike night. I got to the store and when I parked my bike a saw alotof smoke and thought oh crap. Looked down and there was at least a quart of oil covering and pooring out of my engine. I went in and grabbed a service guy who came out and wrote out a service request and wheeled my gal into the bay. After a sleepless night thinking I fried my rings or burnt a valve or worse I got a call from Drew at sd Harley the salesman who sold me my bike who told me they bumped another customer and the bike was on the rack... At 8am!! Well another 5 hours of nerveousness boiled down to a blown cam cover gasket and a Harley warrenty repair. Yaaa. picked her up Sunday morning and found the shop not only fixed it in a very timly manner but also changed the oil, filter gave me a fresh tank of premium and washed it all up for me. Ok sorry bout the rant but I have to give mad props the sd Harley for all their help and all the free beer at bike night!!! Thanks guys.

You're lucky that oil didn't coat your rear tire while you were riding!

I had major oil crisis on my bike a while back, but as I was riding it sprayed back on my rear tire. Luckily I didn't wreck, but it was scary for sure.
