Hi Guys

I've got a 9sx and I’m thinking about changing the clutch. The problem I have is that it feels very crunchy and unsmooth when changing between the lower gears (mainly 1st to 2nd), has anyone else had the same problem.

I have heard that you can get a soft clutch kit but don’t know anyone who has one or if they're any good, I just want a smoother action, at the moment it feels like I'm doing damage to the gears.

Any tips are appreciated
Thanks - Andy

Have you checked to ensure that the clutch is adjusted correctly and is releasing all the way?

It’s a constant mesh system so; all that hard shifting noise is peaty normal, especially for an HD. No worries ;) Its going to be an even louder pop in the morning or when the bike has been sitting since the oil is thicker.[up] But if you want o feel better just shift with speeds more appropriate to the gear your going into.
