Difference in 08-09 and 10 1125 motor

My bike is an 09 1125cr. The motor blew up a month ago and the dealer was only able to locate the 2010 motor.. what are the difference between the 08-09 and 10 motors besides the sight glass. Thanks

I would think all the up grades like clutch leak issue, hopefully better balance gears, improved timing guides that dont dissintigrate..........hmmm what else?

The 08 stator and rotor are smaller in size and do not over heat like the 09-10s. The 10 has a 2 phase electrical set up and the 08-09 have a 3 phase. It's not better or worse just more stuff to go wrong. And the recall the 08-09 had was to remove the 3rd phase and make it a 2 like the 10s

Throttle bodies and dfi changes from 09-10 also if I recall correctly.
