Differences/Changes Between 2008 - 2010 1125CR

Hi all,

I'm looking into maybe getting an 1125CR and wanted to know all the differences/changes between the 2008 - 2010 models.

The only thing I know is the 2008 has the clubman bars and the 2010 has the tall bars.

2009 was the first year for the cr and yes they have club mens
2010 not very many of them have tall bars and the led tail light.
And pod decals that all.
Grand rapids harely had new ones a few weeks back listed for 8995

Hi guys,

I'll use this old post for my first question on the forum: I'm on the verge of buying a 1125CR and have the choice between a 1125CR 2009 and 1125CR 2010. The 2009, unexpectedly, is cheaper than the 2010 version but roughly with the same KMs. Is there any good technical reason to favor the 2010 model over the 2009?

I believe there was a sight glass for the oil on the 2010 as well.

There is a sightglass for the 10.. my bike is a 09 but when the motor blew up the dealership could only find a 10.. so now I have a 09 10... sightglass is an awesome feature.. so much easier to check the oil before each ride.. just look at it and done..

2010's also have an updated design to the cam chain tensioner for better oiling, as well as an updated water pump design with a reportedly better oil seal.
