Are there difference in the airbox design year to year?

In your opinion do you think opening up[ the airbox or doing an airbox delete is better for performance or is the facory ram air setup better?

Yes, there are differences between some of the years. Depending on the year, it may not have a snorkel through the frame. It may just have a perforated airbox lid and the mesh in the front of the airbox cover.

Yes, the airbox delete is totally worth it.

Remember though Rocco, if you do the airbox delete (which IS better for performance), you'll probably need an aftermarket exhaust and ECM re-map to keep your engine from running too lean.
