Apparently some guys think these are made of titanium or something, given what they ask for some of 'em. I'm simply trying to build a racebike and need a seat cowl to complete the build. After deciding I wasn't gonna pay as much for one as I did for the whole tail, I've decided to use some Stuff It foam and make my own replacement using the original as a male piece for the mold. I'll do some photos and try not to F it up too bad, and let you know how it comes out. I think I'm gonna try and make it a hair bigger and extend the sides a bit to give it a couple tabs to mount inside the tail piece. It's only needed to slap some race numbers on... wish me luck![smirk]
