Doubtful but will Buell Detachable bags work?

A couple of my friends just bought brand new BMW GS 1200's and are looking at doing at lot of miles this summer. Although I want to travel light, I like the look of the detachable Lightning bags. The problem is I did a DIY Tail Chop and installed the Kellerman Cat Eye LED signals on the tail piece.

I suspect that the bags will sit exactly where my signal lights are mounted. Can anyone confirm? Sorry for the lousy iPhone Pics. Cheers!

Hey man, I have the detachable bags, they are great. I can't say for sure, but I think they will still fit arounf your signals. It might be a tight squeeze and need a little adjustment, but I think they will fit.

Thanks I appreciate the advice. They're kinda hard to see but the signal lights are mounted almost where the silver meets the black on my tail. Pics of the bags almost look like they go all the way to the end of the tail...

My only concern is the lights are pretty fragile. I've already ruined one with just a cover and they're $90.00 a piece!
