Dual 5.75" headlight?

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Hi all, Indeed I make them myself. The led units are 4" and barely fit in the housing. I have to take apart the led housing and sand the LED housing till it fits. I use the original lens so the appearance stays original.

I did think about LED replacement bulbs, but if you want to have both headlights on, you will blind other traffic, (1 reflector is low beam and 1 is high beam)
and because I want both of the lights to be on I looked into other options.

To be honest, the HID version is brighter than the LED but the LED is much brighter than stock.

The LED's i've shown are the old models. I'm now working on a new version with DRL.

I sell the new once for EUR 325,- and shipping to the USA is EUR 25,-. If you trade in your old headlight I will reimburse EUR 75,-
The housing and lens should be in good condition. Reflector can be burned of broken.
Let me know what you think.

The set is plug and play. I can also add an extra switch on the handlebar so you can turn on/off the low and high beam. this means you can ride with only the DRL

ps. right now I'm out of headlights, but I expect to get in 4 headlights within 2 weeks.

Hi all, I also looked at those lights, but than you miss out the high beam options, which I very much like!
As said before, the output is much higher than stock. according to the manufacture the lights give 3540 Lumen with high beam and 2700 Lumen with low beam (measured as a set).

They run as:

Dual DRL
Dual Low Beam
Dual High Beam

I will get in some new headlights within 2 weeks. I will than make a comparison between stock and LED.

I got some questions regarding the optional switch:

First of all, you don't need it. But I think it's much cooler to have it :)

Buell lights have 2 settings, Low beam and High beam.
With the addition of a switch, I can make a third setting, DRL (day time running lights).

Please look at this video

This is my bike with a xenon modification, but the principal is the same.

When I turn the key, the extra switch is OFF. this means only the DRL will light up
Then I flick the extra switch, and the low beam lights up
Then I flick the original switch from low beam to high beam, and the high beam lights up.

In ALL settings, the flash to pass is fully operational.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
