I just picked up that exact tail/signal light for my 01 blast. does anyone have the wiring configuration for the blast? I need to wire it in there.
thanks!

alright i put this tail light on my blast today and you get the hyper blink for the turn signals now so im pretty sure i need to use a resistor to stop it just wondering which resistors you guys used to solve the problem

Yeah it is LED and I knew it was going to hyper blink when I put it on so there's a relay to fix it. I'll have to look into that

alright i got the EP36 relay from NAPA and plugged it in and it didnt solve the problem. wouldnt all EP36 relays be the same as this one doesnt say LED's on it just OE replacement. i might try one from autozone or advanced to see

The new ep36 doesn't work for it, they changed it. You need an electronic version that is specifically for LED.

i also believe these fit the Uly too.

Octopusenvy ordered one off Amazon so will see if it really does fit when it turns up but a guy on www.advrider.com fitted one and said it worked perfectly.

ahh i see, that stinks i guess ill just return this one but i think im going to keep it blinking faster because i think its more of a attention grabber so its probably a good thing

???

all you need to do is get 2x Indicator Resistors of ebay for $12, thats what i did for my LED indicators front and rear and they blink normal speed now.

For future reference because the op decided to bail on slowing the blinkers down, you only need a ep36 that specifically says LED!!! 3-6 lamps, you dont need any resistors or anything else and it is a cleaner install than a bunch of extra doohickeys

:)

The resistors tend to get kind of hot and don't seem to really last a long time... I JUST had a set go out on my 954, so now I don't have blinkers till I get another set... But unfortunately my 954 doesn't have a flasher.. I'm gonna have to wire in one... Consider yourselves lucky lol...
