Early 600rr or supermotard?

Should I get an early 2003ish cbr600rr and strip it down to abuse and stunt it?

Or get a supermotard?

If the sm any suggestions?
I don't really want to spend a lot.
Heard good and bad things about the drz400sm I like the ktm 690smc but both are a bit pricey.

i'd go for a supermoto as well! you can stunt it and have a blast riding it!

supermotard should be easier to stunt becuase they're lighter. I always wanted a suzuki drz400sm.

Your talking two different worlds as far a reliability ,speed and power the 600rr all the way! But for stunting i like the motards there just a ton of fun not very fast but you can wheelie easy and hell you could jump a tard! Id rather have a sm , but theres just so much difference between the bikes it realy depends on what stunting you wanna do and your riding style i guess?

Thats where I'm stuck. Not sure if I want to focus more street style stunting to adapt some to the buell or just have a bike that I can take anywhere and still push hard.

Two completely different bikes.

Some of the weights on the tards come close to a buell which just seems insane to me.

I owned a couple of cbr600's. Really awesome streetbikes. Problem is everyone and their grandma has one. But then again they are so easy to resell because they are like the honda accord of motorcycles.

Sumo...Mine is still in the halfass dualsport with sumo tires stage and it is still the most fun on two wheels for the money

I owned a WR426f for a grand total of about 10 months. Uncorked, gray wire mod, open airbox... It was fun, dont get me wrong. But it could not even compare to the smile the buell put on my face. Sold it for the same price I paid. Was worth it considering all I paid was reg, insurance, and oil changes.

If anything it just made me enjoy the buell more...which I guess was a good thing?

426's and 450's are a little weak for the street without some serious gearing modifications. If you want a turn key sumo look at ktm because they come factory like that and they have more power than a 450. look at a 525 or a 620? I think is the bigger one. They look fun as hell just a little out of my price range
