Who the heck is Python Paul on ebay. How the hell do list something without a reserve, and then be the winning bidder. Ohh! I know so you can jack the price up. Don't be a DOUCHE! Put a reserve that you want to sell the part for, or let the dam thing sell where it ends.

Here's the deal for everyone else. So for a while I have tried to win an undertail (here is the listing)

and I will be the highest bidder, but at the last minute i will be out bid, and loose the auction to some other bidder.
Now I'm OK if I loose the the auction, but for the seller to re-list the part again, right after the original auction ends is B.S. What a DOUCHE move. This has happened at least 3 times on the exact same part.

He is on this forum and I have purchased a lot from him. He gets a lot of bikes in so he may have several of the same part just doesn't list them all at once. On that one in particular, someone didn't pay I guess. I don't think he is trying to do something.
EDIT:
Each part looks different in each picture also they came off different bikes according to the description. The current one was relisted a month after it originally ended.

The description on the first auction says:
This auction is for a used ermax undertail from a 2005 Buell Firebolt XB12R with 22k miles. Will fit all 2003-up buell firebolts. Bike was down on the left side. Part worked good when removed. Comes as shown. Has a crack on the front from battery bouncing. They all do it, i have same tail on my 09 firebolt and i actually cut the front off and used the stock battery tray still, Much stronger. But this is a rare very nice under tail. Has dual led taillight and built in led signals.


He just stated that he had one on his 09 which he is now selling again after someone didn't pay. SO maybe if you read everything you would see what was going on before you accused people of things

I hear what your saying.But that part showed sold last night and then an about an hour later was relisted. As far as him having several parts. How many undertails are the exact same right down to the stupid LED lights on it. Nowhere in the listing did it say pics are NOT of actual part. I DID read it all, cause I had seen the old listing he had, cause I had him as a favorite seller for a while. But thanks for your input.

Paul is a really good guy. As stated he sometimes gets a noon-paying buyer. Other times he used the same pics for similar items. Why don't you just email him and buy the part from him direct? He usually has more than one of everything and doesn't list all his stuff on fleabay. More often I can save $$ doing it that way and don't have to compete with idiots that drive it up to nearly new prices

Its not showing on ebay as such. I looked at all ended auctions and there are only the 2 its not showing 3 and the fastest auction you can do is 1day. And the auction shows bids back to march 2nd which means it didnt just get relisted its a 7day auction.

Part of the problem is that he has international buyers that don't realize his shipping quotes are meant for the states. That's what happened with my micron originally. It jumped a significant amount in the last 30 min because of an international buyer. The guy wound up not buying and he offered it to me for my last bid, which was still a lot more than I believe it would have gotten.

I actually was watching that item as well for a friend, I sold alot on ebay before and saw all kinds of stuff. I saw a mad buyer as I ended the auction early as I sold it outside of ebay come back and bid and buy my items and not pay to get back at me. Ebay did NOTHING about it and this went on for over a year. I would just call him directly.

As python-Paul on eBay. If theres a problem/concern please feel free to message me. A number of people on this forum and others buy from me everytime I list stuff. As for the ermax tail, an overseas buyer bought it without asking about shipping prices and backed out of it. Along with a set of forks, primary and kickstand. I don't do this as a means of being rich that's why everything is no reserve. This is a hobby to me. Also 99% of my auctions are the actual item you will receive. If it's not an actual picture I will state it in the auction.

My Ebay bid history shows it. I can deal with the fact that I lost the auction, its that from where Im sitting it looks

fair warning to everyone else. I'm Jeff out of Annapolis MD. had 20 some Buell XB myself, you will get multiple parts if you buy enough of them.

Sorry to anyone confused with the two different names or anyone that has bid on something and it's been pulled off. I do often pull things due to people making offers on them.

Ive bought a lot of parts from Paul and seemed to treat me good, he ALSO sells direct so you can skip feebay where you will likely pay more and Paul will most certainly have to pay exorbitant fees. I recently had an issue with a front rim I had serious buyers remorse about because it had a bent rim lip im still not too sure about, Not Pauls fault, mine. But it was a bit spendy after all things considered (Final bod amount and shipping) and i wished i had read the description better. He DID give me the option of backing out of the deal which was fair.

I started on Feebay back in 1999, ive had multiple accounts and used to sell commercially for shops and businesses in all kinds of categories. I also was a consultant for 2 years for Feebay in their community development program on eBay Motors. I have been to eBay HQ in San Jose several times, and had lunch in the eBay cafe there (awesome food BTW) with Lisa aka LuLu her pink admin name who is employee #12 from the early days. eBay has really changed and evolved, I could tell you all kinds of crazy storys and would LOVE to write a tell all book if i could get ebay staff to open up, because there has been some seriously crazy shit happen over the years. I know a few of them, but holy jesus there is some nut jobs out there.

As both a buyer and a seller,, I always have something to complain about when it comes to how eBay works,,, which is why they made me a consultant. But, lighten up, keep shopping, and always remember that rarely ever is there a deal that wont be available again,,if at first you dont succeed, keep looking. Theres no shortage of parts out there.

I agree with this, Paul wound up selling me a micron in better condition than the one I was bidding on, so I wound up paying a little more but it was a better unit.
