EBR almost went out of business. They had to move to another state and lock Cooter out of the building to keep him from drinking all of their beer. It was close.

Well, it looks like they shut down the buellmotorcycle.com pages and went back to erikbuellracing.com. Maybe they are getting ready for a press release/re-branding event?

Either way, good for them. I dont know if a new EBR/Buell Motorcycle is in my future, but this is definitely good news for the brand.

In one of the fb groups I saw someone posting pictures of new EBR bikes getting built and taking orders. I haven't followed EBR, but I thought they were all closed up. Maybe someone bough the rights and remaining parts/tooling?

They are currently owned by Liquid Asset Partners (LAP), and have been operational in a reduced capacity... but they are still ticking.

It's actually not that difficult of a timeline to follow:

LAP bought EBR when it went into receivership.
LAP ran EBR this whole time, it was never shut down.
LAP/EBR bought rights to the Buell name from H-D last year.
LAP is rebranding EBR and Buell into a single MoCo.
