Hi from France!
I am the owner of a 2009 black 1125 that I have baught in France new in march 2010.
Despite I paid it 12000 euros and one week after the price turned to 7500 euros, despite that, I am very satisfied with this bike.
My problem is : I wrotte a lot of mails to EBR, I have received only one answer from Michael "sales", asking me my whereabout in order to tell me the shipping price with USPS (not UPS) to send me a ECM. I sent my whereabout and everything but since weeks : nothing. Seems nobody cares. Of course, I am disapointed, because since years, I have owned 4 HD and always baught items with ebay from USA:
Never problems. Always very correct with transactions. Always, except now with EBR. Seems they don't want to sell to me. Don't know why. Does someone on this site have any idea concerning another adress in order to buy
the ECM race for stock 1125 exhaust?

IF you order the ECM through EBR you will get it no problem. I have emailed them a few times and got a response every time, some days took a little longer but had no issues there.

Phil it isn't just you who is waiting for a reply. I have spoken with Michael and have had a third party stop in and I still haven't had positive results. I understand they are under staffed and extremely busy however I can't help but think the poor customer service can not be good. I spent my money elsewhere as I could not get satisfactory results with them. I spoke with Erik a few weeks ago face to face and from my past conversations with him I could tell his mind was going a million miles a minute.

As for your ecm, look into fuelsolutions as an alternative. http://www.fuelsolutions.nl/
I run their tune in my street bike and do not have a single complaint. I had the early version tune back before they were FS and it was far better than any of the HD/Buell updates. I now have the Buell adjustable race ecm in the drag bike. While it works well, this thing is no joke as you better know what your doing (which I don't!).

I just wanted to add that I didn't order directly just because to send something smaller than a box of matches to France , EBR with UPS asks 100 USD!
This is completly crazy!
that's why I asked for USPS price. As I am used to buy from States, I know the USPS prices : very correct.

These bikes are so wonderfull!
I wanted an ECM race for stock exhaust because I was told this allows to the engine to turn more fast when you first start it.
Mine is turning : 1500t/M. This is a bit to high.
Does your solution change this?
How much does it cost?

Michael at EBR is a very knowledgeable and approachable individual, I live thousands of miles away from the states but have ordered from EBR, if ever I had any issues I would just pick up the phone and call him on 0012626421627. The other option you have living in France is to speak to Martin at Twinmotorcycles in Holland, him and Dris also know these bikes insideout and can help you with a “map”, you can contact Martin on 0031306878214.

I would like to buy this ECM from EBR because it's an easy "plug and play" and above all, THEY have made this bike so I am more in confidence with them.

like they said EBR is very under staffed and very busy especially here lately with preparing for the AMA superbike races and with the finalization of the NEW motorcycle the EBR 1190RS !!!
please have patience with EBR !!
