ecm tune a harley?

might be taboo,but my buddy's softail has the same connector as our bikes. but ecm spy doesn' recognize the connection. are there fuel maps and software for 2005 HD's?

Yeah they call it the screamin eagle race tuner. I'd go with a power commander of fuel pac if I was your buddy. The SERT is a bit primitive.
