ecmspy and now my bike is not running right

So... I got my ecmspy cable in the mail yesterday. Connected to my bike, turned off active muffler control and cleared my check engine light then I reset my tps sensor and took the bike for a ride(or tried to) the bike wasnt running right and was having trouble on take off. so I decided to down load the race maps and see if that would help since i have a exhaust and k&n filter. After the race map download bike seemed to run better or at least it would take off better. but now it seems to take off fine but struggles and sputters after take off until I get up to about 3k rpm and then it pulls harder than it ever did before.

What did i do wrong, what can i do to fix it?
any and all help would be appreciated.

by the way my bike is a 2004 xb12r with a Jardine GP1 and a K&N filter

Did you save your Stock map/Epromm? that is first to do when you trade maps so you can start over and find a good Map and so on for the ECM. You may have to reset TPS and find the proper map for your muffler and Air Filter. Check around the forum to see if someone on here has a good Map so you can start fresh. When you get these Different Race maps ETC.. you need to know what the mods are for it Before you do anything so as to best match the Mods you have. Yes I saved the stock eepromm, I ended up loading the stock eepromm back and it runs fine. I'm gonna need some dyno time before I try and make my own maps.I would like to get a copy of the maps from an EBR race ecm for a 2004 XB12R with a Jardine GP1. If any one has something like that hit me up...

When you did the tps reset, did you just hit the reset button? Because there is more to the procedure.

i did the tps reset the right way, my bike just runs like poop with the race map downloaded to it. when i put the stock map back on it runs good (or as good as the stock map can)
