ECMSPY can't load race map.Help please ?

Whats up? Ok so i'm having some trouble trying to flash a race map to my 06 xb9r . I've tried to change the eeprom and load a new one and i keep getting the same result. It keeps saying that the data isn't compatible with my ecm. I can load my eeprom and a bone stock one and thats it . Any help would be much appreciated .

Does the race ecm have the same eeprom as your bike? If not I think you can just copy and paste the maps.

You can't load the race eeprom in most cases. You will have to open ecmspy with copy of your current eeprom go to the maps, and open the front fuel map. Then open up another ecmspy with the race eeprom, go to the maps page open the front fuel maps, highlight the maps, hit ctrl C. then go back to your stock map, highlight the maps, then hit ctrl V. Then repeat the procedure for the rear maps. Then go to File Save Eeprom, give it a different name. Connect to your ecm, then hit burn maps on the maps page.

I think I got it all. Someone else I'm sure will chime in if I missed a step.

Ok for some reason i can load the race map but the eeprom says its still stock idk what the deal is[confused]

I don't understand what you are trying to say.

You do still have the stock eeprom, all you changed was the maps that were in the file. Everything but your maps will still be the same.

Do your front and rear fuel maps now match the race maps that you have? If so you have accomplished what you wanted to do. You can't use the whole eeprom file, as you have learned it is not compatible with your ecm.
