ecmspy with palm t5

I got the ecmspy for palm downloaded and installed on the palm but theres ne communition to the palm. It keeps saying time out I have the palm cable with the charger and powering off the bike. Is there some other software or drivers needed on top of ecmspy?

There are no drivers needed for the palm. I had a similar problem with my xx. It turned out to be dirty contacts on the com port. Try taking a small screwdriver and lightly scratch the connection points. I sent mine to opti and that's what he found wrong with it.

cool I'll check that out. I also wonder if i got the USB mail/female TX and RX switched? Is it TX/TX or TX/RX?

TX=RX and RX=TX

In other words one sides Tx is others RX.

palms side RX goes to the ecm sides TX.
palms side TX goes to the ecm side RX.
ground goes to ground.
