eeprom saving as txt doc?

Finally got software to work using a different comp. When I fetch my eeprom it wants to save a .txt document? What do I do? Isnt it supposed to be an.epr?

ok. figured out the eeprom saves txt and epr file but now when I try to open bin in tunerpro it takes the bin file but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

What are you using to read the EEPROM?

aghhh...good question. I'm fetching the eeprom in esmspy and saving it in the ecmspy folder. Then I rename the epr file to a .bin and try to open it in tunerpro. Guessing that's not correct?

Is there a reason you're switching between the two programs?
