G'Day all, I'm in the process of installing a programmable fuel injection system to my trusty 98 S1 and would like to use road speed in my tuning set up. As the 98 model has a cable operated speedo I was wondering if anyone had some advice regarding the installation of an electrical pick up somewhere. I have looked at the lecy pick ups on line for later models but cannot visualize where they are mounted. Ideally if there was an optical sensor that was installed in the front wheel, similar to the stock mechanical unit, in any of the proceeding models I would be interested to know. BTW the reason for a fully programmable FI set up is to correctly fuel for a turbo installation. Thanks in advance for any replies.

if you are trying to keep the original speedo, I don't think you can, but, any aftermarket conversion for a sportster should work
