Engine dies out

Hey all,

So I'm an idiot and might have added too much engine oil, but I was riding my motorcycle around after adding oil and the engine begins to sputter and just dies out. I used a turkey baster to take out the excess oil from the dipstick area, but I think it might be too late. The bike doesn't start and if it does, it sputters out pretty quick and dies. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I was doing some research and maybe change the spark plug? Or some kind of fuel filter?

I would try a plug change for sure.

Thanks, I'll definitely see if that works. I'm really hoping it's nothing else because I just got my bike working again...

I had the same problem a couple years ago. Turned out the vent tube for the gas tank was pinched off by the oil drain/transmission drain tubes.
